Serhan Kayar is a professional with academic and practical experience in business administration, energy, and management. He completed his undergraduate studies in Business Administration, and earned his MBA and PhD degrees in Business Administration. His academic research focuses on sustainability, job security, job performance, motivation, and organizational commitment.
He began his career in sales and managerial positions and has been serving for many years at the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority. He has worked as an observer and operator in diesel power plants, gaining extensive expertise in energy production and operational processes.
In addition to his professional career, Serhan Kayar has been actively involved in trade union activities, serving as Financial Secretary of EL-SEN and Vice President of TÜRK-SEN. He has published research articles in international peer-reviewed journals and continues his work in the fields of management, energy, and sustainability.
