Dr. Tuğçe Denizgil Evre was born on April 4, 1988, in Nicosia. She completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology at Near East University between 2006 and 2010. She then pursued a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at the same university and obtained her specialization in 2013 with her thesis titled “A Comparison of Self-Esteem, Body Image, Sexual Satisfaction, and Sexual Experiences in Women Who Underwent Mastectomy or Breast-Conserving Surgery.”
Continuing her academic journey with an interdisciplinary perspective, Dr. Evre completed her PhD in Political Science and Public Administration at the European University of Lefke between 2017 and 2024. Her doctoral dissertation was entitled “Operational Code and Cyprus Negotiations: The Case of Derviş Eroğlu as the Leader of the Turkish Side.”
Dr. Evre’s scientific work covers the fields of clinical psychology, addiction, anxiety disorders, trauma therapies, and organizational psychology. In addition, within the scope of political science and public administration, she has conducted research on Cyprus negotiations and leadership psychology. She has published numerous articles in national and international journals.
In her professional career, Dr. Evre also stands out with her role as an educator. Since 2017, she has been teaching various courses at the university level, primarily “Behavioral Sciences and Psychology.” Furthermore, through the course “Psychiatric Disorders,” she shares her clinical knowledge with psychology students.
Combining her expertise in clinical psychology with academic research and social contribution, Dr. Tuğçe Denizgil Evre continues her work with an interdisciplinary perspective at the intersections of psychology, politics, and society.
