Prof. Thomas Paul is a distinguished economist and finance scholar with over 46 years of academic and professional experience in macroeconomics, financial economics, international finance, monetary economics, and risk management. He has held professorial and senior academic leadership positions at several international universities, including Solomon Islands National University, Papua New Guinea University of Technology, the University of the South Pacific, Madras School of Economics, the University of Botswana, and the European University of Lefke (TRNC). He has supervised around 15 Ph.D. scholars and published extensively in reputed international journals. Prof. Paul has also provided executive training and consultancy to banking and financial institutions, particularly in Basel standards, risk management, and financial markets.
