I stand here today not merely to take over a duty, but to build a new future together. Universities are not ordinary institutions; they are the structures that shape the intellect, vision, and future of societies. Therefore, the responsibility facing International Alasia University is not just to provide education, but to provide direction.
As I begin my tenure, I am setting a very clear goal: To elevate the international recognition of Alasia University to the highest level and transform it into a reference point and an academic center of influence.
How will we achieve this?
First, we will establish a student-centered structure. Our students will not just be graduates; they will be the leaders, decision-makers, and change agents of the future. We will equip them not only with knowledge but also with vision, analytical thinking, and global awareness. We will enable them to open up to the world through an education system integrated with the business environment.
Second, we will accelerate internationalization. Alasia University will become a true global platform where students and academics from different geographies meet. This campus will be more than just an educational space; it will be a crossroads of cultures, ideas, and perspectives.
Third, we will make academic quality an indisputable standard. Publications, research, and scientific production will not be an option for us, but a fundamental priority. We will establish a system where every academic is supported, encouraged, and rewarded for their performance.
Fourth, we will focus. Instead of being a university that tries to exist in every field, we will be a strong and ambitious university in specific areas. We will prioritize technical and career-oriented fields. We aim to establish a pioneering center for studies on the Eastern Mediterranean, the Middle East, and global geopolitics. To this end, we will establish robust research centers and increase international collaborations.
I want to state clearly: This transformation will not be easy. It will require discipline, determination, and a collective will. However, I believe that with the right team, the right vision, and strong leadership, this university will make a difference in a very short time.
My management philosophy is clear and concise: Transparency, merit, and performance. My door will always be open. Everyone who generates ideas, contributes, and takes responsibility is a valuable part of this structure.
