Hasan Özok was born in Nicosia in 1984. He graduated from Haydarpaşa Commercial High School in 2001.
He began his higher education at Eastern Mediterranean University in the Computerized Accounting program, and subsequently continued his studies in the Department of Interior Architecture at the University of Cyprus and the Faculty of Architecture at Near East University.
In 2002, he began his professional career within Özok Group. In addition to serving in various roles across all areas of the group’s operations, he assumed active responsibilities particularly in the structuring and growth processes of the automotive sector. He was involved in the integration of the KIA brand into Özok Group in 2007 and the Renault brand in 2011.
In 2012, he managed the Hasan Özok Student Dormitory Complex—the first private student dormitory on the Eastern Mediterranean University campus offering hotel-level comfort. In the same year, he joined the Group Headquarters management team and was appointed Director of Özok Group.
In 2019, he was appointed as the Founding Rector of International Alasia University and currently serves as a Member of the University’s Board of Trustees.
Hasan Özok is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Özok Group, which operates in the furniture, construction, automotive, sports retail, and advertising agency sectors.
In addition, he serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alasia Education Group, which encompasses all university-affiliated and independent student dormitories, campus developments, social facilities, restaurants, cafés, and organizational structures.
